Achieving total fitness through weight training doesn't have to be a negative experience.  In fact, it can make you feel really wonderful...every day!

The "no pain, no gain" philosophy is completely outdated, unless, perhaps, you happen to be a powerlifter or professional body builder.

When you combine careful, mindful movement with powerful and precise technique, you've created the mind-body connection to excel at the art of body sculpting and succeed with your goals and objectives.

With the use of biomechanics and applied kinesiology in every move you make, you will see results quickly.  Weight training can tone, tighten, strengthen and empower you in ways you never imagined.

We understand that you are a busy professional who has a very limited amount of time.  As such, each moment of your workout has to count!  A safe, gentle and effective program has to encourage you to continue so you see results.

Working with a personal trainer has distinct advantages:

  • Time is more efficiently utilized.
  • Injuries are eliminated or at least minimized
  • Results are realized and apparent

Muscle is denser than fat.  Weight training will help you add muscle.  You may even see a slight weight gain, but your clothes will be looser!  Working with an experienced personal trainer will also help you to:

  • Lose fat
  • Gain muscle
  • Drop clothing size
  • Increase metabolism at rest
  • Achieve better balance
  • Enhance flexibility
  • Realize mind-body correlation
  • Increase your energy levels
  • Reduce stress
  • Improve posture
  • Increase overall strength and stamina
  • Lose girth and keep it off
  • Maintain bone density – preempt osteoporosis

Strength training will result in the following positive adaptations:

  • Increased muscle fiber size
  • Increased muscle contractile strength
  • Increased tendon tensile strength
  • Increased bone strength

Finally, if you consider just one thing, consider this:  For every hour or so you do of cardio, you continue to burn energy for an hour or two; for every hour of weight training you do, you continue to burn energy for one or two days.
